The participation, as a speaker, was at one of the TED talks sessions on “Ethical Hacking” held at the SAI TED 2017, the second edition of a tech fair organised by SAI International School (SIS), Bhubaneswar on December 09, 2017.

The objective of the talk was to provide various ideas on protection of network and reveal skillfulness on ethical hacking.

The talk dwelled on giving an insight on the types of hacking, hackers (Black Hat, Grey Hat and White Hat) and hacktivism and creating awareness amongst students about the difference between hacking and ethical hacking.

Later, various issues related to ethical hacking and what can be done to prevent them was discussed and the need for cyber security was highlighted.

At the end of the session, various career opportunities in the areas of ethical hacking & cyber security were discussed and the students were motivated to look at these areas for their career development. This was followed by a lively Q&A session.
